Founded as an educational resource for drone-related news for Colorado UAV enthusiasts.
Became a trusted source for referrals for local media production companies and individuals that had drones.
Merged with HoverBy Drones in 2016 to create full-service drone company.
Evolved into a nationwide drone service provider with a network of vetted drone pilots with expertise in high-altitude flying.
Mile High Drones provides services from aerial shots for marketing, inspection services using thermal and gas-leak detection sensors, to survey grade analytics for Roofing, Architects, Engineers, Construction firms, to even software development and much more. Every time we show up to a location, we bring with us over 20 years of combined experience in the industries we serve. Our chief pilot is former Air-Force, and our Marketing crew is one of the best in the industry.
On any given application, we can have up to $90,000 dollars in the air, and twice as much in ground support systems. In the air, we fly a range of drones, ranging from mapping systems designed for modeling to the M210RTK magnetically shielded infrared powerhouse. Equipped with a slew of optics, an XT-Thermal infrared from FLIR, and precision high altitude propulsion systems specifically modified for thin air flying. On the ground, we have a trunk-full of batteries, charging systems, and rapid reset modules equipped with enough power management systems to allow us 10 solid hours of flight.
